TENANT HIGHLIGHT
How did you get started?
Bolton & Menk began in 1949 in a small garage in Saint Peter, Minnesota, with John Bolton and Martin Menk, who wanted to help their local communities. John, a university engineering professor, and Martin, his student and a WWII veteran, saw the need for an engineering firm dedicated to local towns that couldn't afford full-time engineers. After support from city staff, Bolton & Menk was born, with Vernon Center and Saint Peter as our first clients. From those humble beginnings, we've grown into one of the largest multi-regional public infrastructure firms in Minnesota, Iowa, and North Dakota. We have recently expanded outside of the Midwest to serve clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Colorado. Through all this growth, we remain committed to John and Martin's vision: listening to communities, finding the best solutions, and treating people right.
